in our new york city design studio, we create modern-art-inspired handmade throw quilts and accessories from luxurious natural materials.  our quilts are born of a love of mark rothko’s emotive color block paintings and, as a result, have a bit of a painterly look to them as they exude a touch of drama (and whimsy).  made from pure silk dupioni and italian wool, the throws feel as luscious as they look.  

 

we also create handmade felted wool bowls, silk and wool jewelry and even a paper item or two.  in each instance, high-quality natural materials are used to what we think is delicious effect.
